Elementary School
Weston Christian Academy’s Elementary School is filled with warm and caring Christian educators who provide a Christ-centered environment that enables our students to flourish in their academic endeavors, the development of talents, and their Christian walk as God intends for their lives.
The academic program at Weston Christian Academy is designed to promote the development of knowledge, wisdom, and critical thinking skills. Our elementary students participate in a comprehensive phonics-based reading program that includes regular integration of classical literature, writing skills, penmanship, and the overall mechanics of language. Core subjects such as math, history, and science are intentionally structured to build analytical and reasoning skills. Students explore science hands-on in the lab, and history is taught with a classical approach that brings the past to life. In addition to traditional academic courses, students enjoy a rich rotation of enrichment classes including art, computer lab, library, music, physical education, Latin, and Spanish. Beginning in 4th grade, students have the opportunity to choose between Orchestra and Beginning Band, further encouraging the exploration of their interests and talents.
Competitions
In addition to engaging in a wide variety of daily learning activities, students have the opportunity to participate in competitions such as Art Festival, Spelling Bee, Math, and Reading competitions.
